The only way I got the wireless re-enabled is to do a full restart – the the same process over again. It connects to public hotspots great, so I’m just going to get a new router for home.

I just found it suprising that Windows actually found the drivers for it. I just received my new Dell notebook yesterday – with the – and I can’t connect to my wireless network!

But, glad it’s fixed now. I have just one question, if I were to find the Broadcom one for sale, purchase it and replace the Intel card wirelwss the Broadcom card, would the WiFi light on my laptop function the same as it does with my current Intel one?
